How does a typical coaching session run?

We customize coaching sessions to candidates as needed. We do a quick summary via form or in person to understand where candidates are in the process.

Some candidates just want a chance to ask an expert questions about the interview process. But more often, candidates want answers on how to improve parts of the framework they got stuck on in mocks. Others want to mimic difficult interviews with an experienced interviewer.

How many sessions do I need?

Again, everyone is different. Some people only need one session, others need multiple sessions in a week or month.

We are sensitive to your expenses and will encourage you to leverage the free mock interview groups as much as possible to improve between coaching sessions. If you only use our coaches to practice it will take longer and be more expensive.

What makes you different from other interviewing and coaching sites/platforms?

We focus on customized approaches. We provide feedback that is tailored to each candidate. We often provide customized homework assignments that help candidates focus on problem areas. We are kind but blunt in our feedback so you can prepare properly.

What if I need to reschedule?

We’re pretty flexible, but we do ask for at least 12 hours notice when rescheduling a session so that we may open up that original time slot for others. Rescheduling is easy, just use the link in your confirmation email. If you have an emergency and need to reschedule within 12 hours of your session, please email your coach directly.

What is your cancellation and no-show policy?

We value your time as we hope you value ours. No shows and last-minute cancellations (less than 12 hours before your session) are charged in full. For this reason, we require a credit card on file to book a session.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, our mission is to help you improve your interviewing skills by offering reasonably-priced career coaching that focuses on practical, actionable feedback. If you are not satisfied with your most recent coaching session, please just let us know, and we’ll refund the cost of your session and any remaining package balance.
