The Three Types of Execution Questions
The Meta/Facebook Execution question is designed to test your ability to design and execute flexible process and strategy frameworks that facilitate team prioritization of competing demands/information.
They are testing to see if you can lead teams in executing ideas and addressing complex issues.
As such, the prompts are purposefully fraught with complexity. Probing questions are intended to see if you can think about multiple aspects of complex situations.
