When answering the “Tell Me About Yourself” prompt, you want to focus on the most important things you have done that are relevant to the job or role.
Don’t
Do NOT start with deep history
Do Not start with college coursework (unless APM/internship)
Do Not focus on experience that isn’t relevant to the role
Don’t try and tell them everything you have ever done
Do
Do talk about most recent experiences
Do share significant, measurable high-level outcomes you drove
Do customize your delivery to the role at hand
Do leave out non-relevant experiences
Do focus on the skill sets they need to hear in your current role
