Resources for Meta/Facebook Execution Prep

This is one of my favorite articles by one of my favorite PMs: Rohan Katyal. He gives you the inside scoop on the Product Execution interview loop.

Besides mock interviews and following Rohan’s advice, I also recommend reading as much as you can from experts on product metrics. Being able to set goals and measure success is crucial to passing the execution interviews. I find the following articles insightful when it comes to building the execution muscles you need to thrive at Meta/Facebook.

  1. Selecting the right User metric

  2. Monthly Churn is a terrible metric

  3. Choosing your North Star Metric

  4. Product Metrics that Matter

  5. Metrics PMs Should Know

  6. Marketplace Metrics

  7. Engagement & Quality of Revenue

  8. All About Metrics

  9. Power User Metrics - I liked this to teach about why the time element matters in metrics

  10. On Experimentation Metrics

  11. Why metrics reviews are important - I have been preaching this for years, he just got it on paper before I got the opportunity.

  12. Data for B2B Strategy - Good to think about data and strategy even if not as consumer focused at Meta/Facebook is.
