AI Job Entry Update

This supports a longer piece on using AI chatbots to update your resume.

The following are entries for my newest role: Principal Product Manager, FireTV. 


What I liked and learned from the exercise: 

  • Style: I like bolding the theme for each key accomplishment line. I have never done that in the past, but it aligns with how I write documents at work, so I will add it. ChatGPT and Claude.

  • Helping Me See AI helped me uplevel the customer focus in my resume. Gemini

  • Resume Formats. At my point in my career, I really prefer the summary of ownership for each role. ChatGPT and Claude

  • Challenge It is difficult to read the same things over and over and over again and catch the nuances. I will need to experiment with job applications.

  • Understands Brand Value LOVED that Claude understands cachet and added “Wharton” to my education line where I typically understate it with Univ of Penn. 

  • At this point, I find myself testing Gemini and Claude for helpful points but using ChatGPT to cut through the noise
