Book: How to Measure Anything

One of my favorite books about data and product management is How to Measure Anything by Douglas Hubbard. Why: Product managers need to measure what their users want and how well they are doing in meeting user needs. In this world where data flows like water when there appears to be limited data, many in product give up and say they can’t measure their product. This book makes you think twice.

Contrary to what many think, Hubbard focuses on the idea of anything is better than nothing when it comes to measurement. Yes, a wealth of data is nice, but most of the time, you just need a few data points to have more information than you did when you started.
