seven. quick. tips.

Helpful feedback includes (but is not limited to):

  • Clarifying Questions: Are they clearly memorized? Are they irrelevant to the prompt? Does it seem the candidate is begging to be given some direction?

  • Strategic Thinking: Can you follow the decision-making? Why or why not? Was a goal stated? (Goal not metric.)

  • Segmentation: Are user segments clear? Or do they overlap too much? Can you follow the prioritization?

  • Pain Points: Are the point points distinct to the user I selected? Or do they apply to segments I cut?

  • Solutions: Can you follow how a user would use the product? If not, poke about key aspects of the solution?

  • Clarity of Thought: Is the candidate concise or do they ramble too much?

  • Presentation: If using a doc as a whiteboard, is it clear or too many sentences? Did you get dizzy as the candidate scrolled back and forth?
